Financial Advice

How Does Financial Advice Work?
We all have our own individual financial needs and aims so the financial plan you and your adviser agree on will be as unique as you are. Whatever your adviser recommends however, they will follow the same advice process:
- Identify your needs and objectives - Your adviser will discuss your current financial situation with you to gain an understanding of your personal goals and objectives. By talking to you about your general attitudes to money, your current finances, and your aims for the future they can identify your financial needs and objectives, as well as any gaps that may exist in your present financial arrangements.
- Recommendations - Using what they learned in your first meeting, your financial adviser will present a series of recommendations on the products they think might be suitable for you and your unique personal needs and priorities. Often they will give you a list of options, which you can talk through and decide on together.
- Ongoing communication and guidance - As your life changes, so do your finances. Your adviser will continue to work with you, regularly reviewing your circumstances to ensure that your financial arrangements continue to satisfy your objectives.
