Explanation of Charges

Regular Monthly Statements

Each investor will receive, without charge, an annual statement in May of each year and additional statements can be issued on request. However, if you would like a regular monthly statement, this can be provided for just £30 per annum.

Subject Access Request

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 you may request a copy of personal data held about you by the Society.

Copy Cheque Information

If you pay a cheque into your account and need to know, at a later date, who the cheque came from or any other details about the cheque, a charge will be made to cover the costs of retrieving this information.

Duplicate Tax Certificate

Each year, along with your annual statement in May, you will be supplied with a Section 352 Tax Certificate, if appropriate. If you require a replacement or an additional copy, a charge will be made for the production of each certificate.

Third Party Debt Order

This charge covers the administration costs involved in registering the Third Party Debt Order when it is received by the Society. This charge will be deducted from your investment account , upon registration.

Account Information (over 1 year old)

Information about your account can be provided at any time upon request, but should you require information that is more than 12 months old, then part of the extra administrative costs involved in collating the information will be charged to you. The charge is £5 per A4 sheet and a minimum of £20 applies.

Special Presentation

If you wish to withdraw funds from a cheque that you intend to pay into your account, sooner than would otherwise be allowed under the 10 day clearance rule for cheques, then you may, at the time of paying in the cheque, request that it is specially presented. This means that you will normally be able to draw on the cheque just 2 full working days after paying it in.

Recorded Delivery

If you require information to be sent to you by recorded delivery, then we will be pleased to arrange this for you. The charge made by the Post Office will be debited to your account by the Society.

Before any specially requested service is provided, you will be advised of all charges and your account debited accordingly. All other standard services are free of charge. Other charges may apply that are not shown, but will only be charged on your request and acceptance for an additional service.
