An Introduction to Scarborough Building Society's Financial Education Initiative
Scarborough has launched a schools programme to equip members of the next generation to manage their finances effectively for a more stable future.
With contemporary society characterised by unprecedented, and growing, debt levels, we believe we have a responsibility as a building society to play our part in educating the next generation to manage their finances responsibly.

One of the ways in which we are doing this is by delivering personal finance workshops in schools throughout the Greater Scarborough area.
To accompany the workshops, we have also developed a funky, interactive computer game called Young Finance Manager, which aims to prepare youngsters for ´real world´ finances in a fun way.
